We are particularly chuffed to have won awards in 2020 in the categories Britain’s Best Burger for our amazing Kennedy’s Sirloin Sharing Burger, Britain’s Best Sausage for our Kennedy’s Apple & Cider Brandy Chutney Sausage, and Best Lamb Product for our Kennedy’s Lamb Koftas.
Lancashire Family Business of the Year Award at the Red Rose Awards.
Ewood Foods are proud to have been awarded Lancashire’s Family Business of the Year Award 2019 at the Lancashire Red Rose Awards and also the Family Business Award for Blackburn and Darwen during the Hive Business Awards 2019. Ewood Foods is made up of three generations, all of which are dedicated to improving the company continuously. We still work to the traditional customer service values established originally by the owner over 40 years ago. These values define the way the business provides customer service and are still reflected in everything that the company does, being the standards to which we’ve long been associated, values that we are rightly proud of and work very hard to maintain. Our aim is always to help customers efficiently, in a friendly manner and go the extra mile when needed. Customer service is the lifeblood to any business and our focus is to make it as easy as possible to deal with Ewood Foods, and to do this, we get to know our customers, we do the everyday requirements well, we make sure we respond quickly when asked and we go the extra mile whenever we can.
NHS Supplier of the Year 2019
Ewood Foods was also proud to be awarded NHS Supplier of the year at the 2019 North West HCA awards for outstanding service.
National Sausage Awards 2019
We are extremely proud to say that our Kennedy’s “Tasty” Sausage, produced in our own in-house butchery, was an award winner at the recent 2019 National Sausage Week event. Made using pork shoulder and belly for a firm texture and meaty bite, we then add our own seasonings to make, quite possibly the tastiest sausage in the North West.
